Postpartum Doula Support:

•       Professional postpartum support by Joy MacTavish, a fully trained, licensed, insured and certified doula
•       Scheduled time for postpartum doula care services, daytime and overnight
•       Support and assistance with breastfeeding/bottle-feeding
•       Suggestions and assistance with mother's recovery
•       Advice on infant and parent sleep patterns
•       Hands-on guidance with newborn care
•       Recognizing and responding to postpartum mood disorders
•       Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation and running of errands
•       Assistance with basic pet care
•       Sibling care and assistance with transition 
•       Access to my lending library and Resource & Referral list
•       Questions answered by email or phone in-between postpartum sessions

           Daytime sessions generally have a minimum of 4 hours, between 7am-9pm

           Overnights are generally an 8 hour session, 10pm-6am or 11pm-7am

  $25 - 30 per hour

Certified Happiest Baby Education:

•        Personal Happiest Baby on the Block lesson
•        Parent Kit containing the HBOTB DVD and "Super-Soother" White Noise CD
•        Follow-up by email or phone     

$65 stand alone session. Discount available for doula package clients or groups of 3 or more

Pregnancy, Childbirth and Postpartum Education:

•        Personalized private lessons related to pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period
•        Follow-up by email or phone for any additional questions   

$50 per hour of instruction. Discount available for doula package clients or groups of 3 or more

Customized packages and discounted rates for set blocks of hours and additional service may be available and extended payment plans can be arranged.

Prenatal meetings that take place after the initial complimentary “meet-and-greet” consultation and that are not included in a package are charged at the postpartum daytime hourly rate and generally last one to two hours. In general, hourly charges begins upon my arrival at your home at the arranged time. If you request errands to be run for you before a scheduled shift, the hour begins upon arrival at the first stop. 

Compete details regarding retainer fees, payments and refunds are included in the Doula Agreement (Contract) which we will review and sign together during our first meeting.
