Greetings and thank you for your interest in Sound Doula!

Sound Doula provides complete doula care, private comprehensive childbirth education and Happiest Baby on the Block education in the Seattle area, by Joy MacTavish, CD(DONA, PALS), PCD(NAPS), ICCE, CHBE.

Available services currently include:

• Certified birth doula (labor support) for hospital, home and birth center births
• Certified postpartum doula care assisting with the transition to parenthood
  
• Certified childbirth educator teaching individualized private childbirth preparation
  
• Certified Happiest Baby on the Block education teaching newborn soothing techniques

Your individualized services can be separate or combined, with many benefits to having a birth doula, a postpartum doula, or both!

Whichever type of service you choose, my role as your doula or educator is to fully support your desires and decisions regarding your birth experience and the experiences of each family member during this exciting new transition.
